Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, Lynam was formed in March of 2001. The band has self-released three albums ( White Trash Superstar-2002, Bling! Bling!-2003, Life In Reverse-2004) and have sold several thousand copies on their own. "White Trash Superstar" and "Life In Reverse" were produced by Jason Elgin (Collective Soul, Creed) and Bling! Bling! was produced by Jason Elgin and mixed by Patrick Thrasher and Jimbo Barton (Godsmack, Metallica, Motley Crue). The album's first single "Disco King" was produced by Joey Donatello (Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Toni Braxton) at Sound Factory Studios in Chicago, IL. "Bling! Bling!" received much radio play from several stations across the U.S., including WRAX in Birmingham where the sing "Disco King" was the most requested song in history of the 5 O'clock Work Release.
Lynam currently has a song in the movie "Catch That Kid" (20th Century Fox), which is out in theatres. The band has developed a huge following in the Southeast from their energetic live shows and constant touring schedule. Having played over 300 dates a year since they formed. Lynam has toured or played shows with Saliva, Puddle Of Mudd, Trapt, Default, Smile Empty Soul, Andrew W. K., The Warped Tour etc. With the release of "Life In Reverse", Lynam shows no sign of slowing down.
